Compare “Spiritueuse Double Vanille” by Guerlain® [brand] to our interpretation “Divine Vanilla Spirit”. As many of you know, I am addicted to vanilla, but not the cheap-smelling stuff. When this perfume was suggested to me I jumped to sample it. Our interpretation begins with top notes of heavy, smoky vanilla, to my nose it reminds me of a dark coffee, but others say it is a smoky vanilla-tobacco. The actual notes of this fragrance are: vanilla, spices, benzoin, frankincense, cedar, pink pepper, bergamot, Bulgarian rose and ylang ylang. All in all it is a deliciously decadent vanilla perfume.
